B.Sc. Nursing - 4 years Degree course

The B.Sc. Nursing programme of Four years duration leading to a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing by KNRUHS, Warangal, Telenagana is designed to enable the Bachelor's Degree in nursing to acquire greater knowledge and understanding in order to function efficiently and effectively as clinical nurses, educators, managers and to assume professional leadership.

B.Sc. Nursing Admission Procedure

"Application form and prospectus for B.Sc. can be obtained from the office of the Principal, Vijay Marie College of Nursing, Begumpet, Hyderabad -500016, A. P. on payment of prescribed fee - in cash/ DD drawn in favour of VIJAY MARIE HOSP. & EDNL SOCIETY, VMCON A/C.

Eligibility

• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. The maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years.
• Minimum Educational Qualification
  • Candidate with Science who have passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together. The candidate must have pass marks in English.
  • Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
  • English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).
• Colour blind candidates are eligible provided that colour corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
• Candidate shall be medically fit.
• Married candidates are also eligible for admission.
• Students shall be admitted once in a year.

Examination

• K.N.R. University of Health Sciences, Warangal, and Telenagana introduced semester system since 2022 – 23 academic year.
• At the end of every semester, there will be Theory and Practical examinations conducted by the K.N.R. University of Health Sciences, Warangal, Telenagana.
• There will be continuous assessment and sessional assessment (internal assessment) both in theory practical in each subject conducted by the College. The internal assessment carries 25% marks of the total of the University marks.
• The candidates will have to pay the examination fees determined by the university from time to time.

For Students from other Countries

Candidates joining the course are requested to submit the following

1. VISA which is valid for the complete duration of the Course.
2. Permission from the Government of India.
3. The entry qualification equivalency i.e. 12th standard will be obtained from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi; Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and K.N.R. University of Health Sciences, Warangal,Telangana.
